My name is Gary B. Phillips. I’m a writer, currently working on my first novel. I also write short stories. I write speculative fiction, though most of my work is dark in nature and is either straight up horror or has horrific elements so I guess that makes me a horror writer, though I’m not quite ready to pigeonhole myself just yet.
I was born in California, grew up in Arizona, lived a few years in Ohio, and I’m now back in Arizona. I have a beautiful wife, two adorable daughters, and three cats. When not writing I enjoy reading, playing video games, building haunted houses, growing a beard, or hoping for rain.
Random fact of the moment: I had a very short stint in the film industry with the IMDb credits to prove it. I even wrote and directed a short film that can be found online with enough diligent searching. (Don’t bother.)
